Our Management Committee is drawn from a broad spectrum of students from Bond University and is not limited to a particular faculty. The current team is:
ChairJenna WongJenna Wong is the Chairperson of Bond Investment Group. She is responsible for the overall operations for the Group, its strategic direction, overseeing the introduction of new initiatives and ensuring the smooth operation of the committee. Jenna is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Commerce. Jenna was previously the Cultural Clubs and Societies Director of the Bond University Student Association (BUSA) and Secretary of Bond Soccer Club. SecretaryHelena MichaelHelena Michael is the Secretary of the Bond Investment Group. She is responsible for organising and managing the Group to ensure they are devoted to expanding and improving upon your Bond student experience. Deputy Chair (Events)Archibald MarrArchie is the Deputy Chair (Events) of the Bond Investment Group. He is responsible for the entire events portfolio — a role which focuses on the creation, organisation and operation all of Bond Investment Group’s competitions, networking functions, educational seminars and social activities. The most notable events throughout the calendar year are the Titans of Industry Forum, Women in Business Evening, Investment Banking Competition and Graduate Panel of which Archie has had experience running in previous years. Archie has had the opportunity to spend a month at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, in their Corporate Tax team. He has also also had legal experience working closely with financial service firms throughout Australia. Archie is undertaking a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Business (Management). Deputy Chair (Media)Annabel YeeAnnabel Yee is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) and Bachelor of Information Technology (Information Systems. Annabel oversees BIG’s publication ‘George Street Review’, the social media arm and supports the club’s events and activities through media and general support.
Annabel’s external experience includes interning for a month at Deloitte in Technology and Business Risk Services while maintaining the roles of Bond Student Fund Manager, IT Director of Enactus Bond University and Treasurer of the Bond Information Technology Society. Corporate Relations DirectorCecilia CobbCecilia Cobb is the Corporate Relations Director of Bond Investment Group. Cecilia is responsible for maintaining existing sponsorship arrangements, seeking new agreements and liaising with our corporate partners. Originally from far Southwest Queensland, Cecilia is undertaking a combined Bachelor of Law/Commerce (Accounting) at Bond in 2010. Cecilia’s primary interests lie in accounting and corporate law. Cecilia joined BIG to further her knowledge base and compliment her studies. Cecilia also contributes to the Bond community in her involvement in the Bond University Women’s Network. Publications/Promotions DirectorBianca GorgoglioneBianca is in her penultimate semester, studying a Combined Bachelor of Business(Marketing)/Commerce(Accounting). Over the course of her studies Bianca has involved herself in a diverse array of extracurricular activities which include a 12 month term as the Promotions Director on the Bond University Student Asssociation, Director of Media on university social club BASIC, coordinator of Bond’s External Womens Netball Team, and Media Director on the inaugural Bond in Africa Program. IT DirectorKingsley AdvaniKingsley Advani is the IT Director for BIG and is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce. Kingsley’s responsibilities within this position include maintaining the BIG website, undertaking special projects and supporting all activities and events through technical assistance.

Social Media DirectorChawis ChamnarnkitChawis Chamnarnkit is the Social Media Director of the Bond Investment Group. This role comes with the responsibility of managing social media content generated by the group, ensuring that information is effectively communicated to others. Chawis has completed a Bachelor of Business and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Information Technology with IT management as a major. Chawis has undertaken several work experience and internship roles both in and outside of Australia. In August 2011, Chawis undertook a work experience role at Novotel Canberra, working as the hotel’s E-Commerce and Marketing coordinator. Events DirectorReinhold SchmidtReinhold Schmidt is the Events Director of Bond Investment Group. He is responsible for ensuring the effective running and planning of the events and competitions that BIG runs also to ensure an innovative approach to generating interest and participation to do with theses events. Advisory Figures
The Bond Investment Group maintains key advisory figures for overall strategic guidance of the Group. Membership is currently drawn from Bond University, but is open to industry professionals interested in the Group.
Dr Li-Anne WooBCom(Hons) Accounting, Finance and Information Systems; PhD (Banking and Finance) UNSW
Li-Anne Woo is currently the Faculty of Business advisor to the Bond Investment Group. Her role is to assist the Group in their long-term planning processes and communicate the wishes of the Faculty to the Group. Li-Anne’s teaching specialties lie in corporate finance, capital markets, financial statement analysis, investments, entrepreneurship and small business finance, and financial/introductory accounting subjects. She currently teaches portfolio/investments in the Finance program, co-ordinates the International Study Tour in the International business program to China, oversees and guides the Bond Student Fund Management group and was intensively involved in the setup of the Macquarie Trading Room at Bond University. |
