The DCM BlueLake Portfolio Competition is a sophisticated and challenging stock market simulator operating on real ASX300 data. The Competition offers you the unique and exhilarating opportunity to experience the life of an equities trader for eight weeks from March 28, with the incentives of career and networking opportunities as well as great cash prizes!
Upon registration, participants are provided with a virtual $200,000 in their own simulated stock trading account with which they can trade shares from the ASX300. An option exists to borrow an additional $50,000. What you do with your simulated stock trading account is completely up to you; there are no restrictions on the frequency of buying and selling – trade as often as you like. The DCM BlueLake Portfolio Competition is the first TradingPlaces competition with a mobile-friendly site for greater access, allowing you to trade from anywhere!
Registering for the Competition provides you with the opportunity to compete against not only your friends and classmates using our ‘My Group’ function, but also other students from over 39 universities across Australia. You can create stock watch lists and also keep tabs on competitor portfolios!
The Competition features continually updated market prices to ensure that you always know the true worth of your portfolio, and also provides weekly newsletters containing Competition News, a Weekly Quiz and interesting Competition/Market Statistics.
